Ski Expedition - Mt Hasan and Mt Taurus

A magnificent ski tour through some snow covered mountain scenery; grandiose and impressive. You'll take opportunity to furrow many valleys, gorges, peaks, summits, canyons and fascinating slopes. And as a reward, at the end of your ski tour, you'll have time to get into the incredible, but true, Cappadocia, famous for its several fairy chimneys and rock formations, strange and fascinating.

Day 1: Ankara

Meet at the airport with our Anatolia Cultura Travel team and transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Ankara - Gözlükuyu Village

Morning visit of Ankara to the south, Aksaray city, where is situated Hasan mount, 3 hours drive. We arrive in the Gözlükuyu village at 1500 m high on the flank of the volcano. We install in a guest house for snow. Diner and overnight in the village.

Day 3: Mt Hasan- Mt Taurus

We'll depart early, to ascend Mt Hasan summit with our ski. Arrived on the top we’re rewarded with a panoramic view all around the volcano after a nice skiing descent to Halvadere village, our bus drives us to Mt. Taurus range. Arrive in Çukurbağ village and install in a guest house. En route we make a stop in Niğde, city where you can see some historical seldjouk monuments (13 century). Dinner and overnight in guest house.

Day 4: Eznevit Plateau

Early in the morning our minibus drives us at departure point depending of the snow level. With our ski, we hike up to Eznevit plateau situated at 2538m. Then you can choose the ascend (easy) the Kayasaray peak (3200m). It offer a nice possibility to descend with ski. Overnight guest house.

Day 5: Alaca Summit 3588 M

Early drive to the Emli valley. Then ascend to the Alaca summit through the pine wood and Mancırlı valley. Descent with ski. Dinner and overnight guest house.

Day 6: Emli Valley - Karayalak Valley - Demirkazik Village

Walk with ski to the Karayalak valley. Today you have a denivellation of 16 m. Descent with ski through the Karayalak valley. Transfer to  Demirkazık village for overnight in a guest house.

Day 7: Narpuz Valley - Cimbar Canyon

Drive to the departure point. Walk up with your ski to a pass at 3300m, dominate by the highest peak of Taurus range(3756). Then you'll descend the Cimbar canyon, certainly the most interesting part of this ski tour. Dinner and overnight guest house.

Day 8: Cappadocia

We leave the Taurus range to drive to Cappadocia . we install in a pension in Ürgüp village. We'll spare the day to discover the uniqueness of this area, and visit sites you'll never see anywhere else. Cappadocia is the result of the work of erosion, during 8 millions years, on a tuff coming from Erciyes (Argeus) and Hasan Volcano 10 millions years ago: Fairy chimney, extraordinary rock formation and cave dwellings and rock cut churches from 3e century. Overnight hotel.

Day 9: Kayseri - Home

Transfer to airport and fly home.

Group size: Possibility to organize according to your needs. Anyway, the most enjoyable groupe size for a such trekking tour is 4-12 persons.
